A recounting of a horrific hallucination in the throes of schizophrenia from my one-act The Silence of My Lonely Room will be included in The Best Men’s Stage Monologues 2024. Somewhere South of Bethelehem, a new one-act I wrote for the WorkShop Theater Company's Out of the Hat 3 series was read with actors Robert Meksin, Virginia Roncetti and frequent collaborator/muse Kari Swenson Riely, and narrated by Allison Linker. For this series, playwrights were assigned to compose a 10-to-20-minute play inspired by the theme of "Faith." The actors, whose names were literally drawn out of a hat, portrayed the Devil, Lucrezia Borgia, and evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson rehearsing a nativity play in Hell.

Acadia University presented by one-act ghost story Tactile Creatures in its MiniFest 2018. A ghost story meant to be performed by three actors of any age, race or gender, the play was originally written as part of the 2017 31 Plays in 31 Days. The play was directed by Chelsea St. Rose, a technical theater student making her directing debut. Her production was EXQUISITE!!!

Just found out that Otherworld Theatre has selected Appetizers, or "On an Island Somewhere" to be one of 40 plays performed in PARAGON: The Largest Science Fiction and Fantasy Play Festival in the World alongside work by some other playwrights I know! I was lucky enough to receive publishing offers for two of my ten-minute plays: Turtles and Bulldogs and The Other Half. Turtles and Bulldogs will be included in The Best American Short Plays, 2015-2016 from Applause Books. The Hungarian translation of The Other Half will be one of 28 short works published by the Drama Translation Project in Budapest.

The Fallow Garden, a new one-act I wrote for the WorkShop Theater Company's Out of the Hat 2 series was read with actors Heather Massie and Jackie Jenkins, narrated by frequent collaborator C.K. Allen. For this series, playwrights were assigned to compose a 10-to-20-minute play inspired by a song for actors whose names were literally drawn out of a hat. I got very lucky!

WorkShop Theater Company artistic director Thomas Coté announced that Composure would be the third play of the company's 2016-2017 season. It is slated to run from April 27 to May 20, 2017. This will not be a remounting but rather a new production of a new draft. Fritz Brekeller will return to direct.
